How would you describe this season’s collection?
The new collection is romantic, feminine and modern at the same time. The emphasis is on perfect cuts, choice of fabrics and the desire to highlight the beauty in every woman.
What was the inspiration?
The inspiration is Provence, the warm light, the fields of lavender and poppies and those incredible colours that inspired my favourite painters, Van Gogh, Gauguin and so many others. The common thread is the olive leaf that is found in many fabrics and accessories.
Do you have a favourite dress this year?
My favorite dress is the Andy dress. I love its romanticism, its delicacy, its femininity and its sublime lace!
What is the quintessential Marie Laporte bride?
A perfect bride is a woman who has found a dress that fits her personality and body shape, who feels free and beautiful in a dress that will make her the prettiest bride of the year!
If you could pick one woman to style, who would it be?
The woman I would have liked to dress is Grace Kelly.
I love her class, her natural chic, her freedom that makes her a timeless example of elegance and femininity.
